Dear friends,

All set for a comfortable and memorable stay at Poovar,just a summary about the arrangemaents,

Around 90 registrations so far including family out of which 47 Registrations from our batchmates,some more to confirm.We had confirmed 50 rooms earlier since registrations are less than expected, we areconfirming 45 rooms.

The programe is as follows,

Around 60 of us have confirmed booking by train, the train reaches Trivandrum on 15th early morning, vehcles has been arranged for pick up from the station to Raj Mahal hotel Near West Fort, Airport Road, Trivandrum-695023, ph0471-257997, friends coming by road can join us in the hotel,breakfast has been arranged at the hotel. The famousPadmananabasamy temple is very close to the hotel,those who wish to go to the temple can walk to the temple and be ready by 12pm to depart to the Resort, lunch at Resort which is around 25kms from Trivandrum-an hour"s drive The only inconvenience in Raj Mahal Hotel is they dont provide hot water.Friends coming by flight kindly intimate your flight details to pick you from the airport.

On the evening of15th the first day, Event manager has been arranged (ice breaker and other programes) followed by dinner.

On 16th morning after breakfast alumini meeting followed by games-volleyball and also they have no. of indoor game, swimming etc.After Lunch go to the beach by boat and assemble back by evening for cultural event-Kalari fight and Bonfire with music and then dinner.

On 17th after lunch disperse, vehcles has been arranged to station and Airport.

Things to be packed,

Dhoti and Towel for Gents and saree for Ladies is a must to enter the temple

swimming shorts

Appropriate Shoes for games

small umbrella as it is a rainy season.

A Memento has been arranged -VIP Sky bag for batchmates,Cap and Banian for all.

Liquor to be seved Johny walker Black Label whisky, St.Remys Brandy, Bacardi rum and Smirn off Vodka and wine.

Request freinds from abroad to buy Black Label whisky -Anantha padmanabhan to buy some good wine as it is not available in India.kindly intimate.

Friends even now it is not late those who have not registered, make up your mind and register.

Yesterday Eight of our batchmates met and finalised the events.

The budgetting for the entire event is aroud 7 lakhs and collection is 5 lakhs. short fall of Rs 2 lakhs Request friends to pool in liberaly to make up the shortfall.
