A Jamboree for Bharat Scouts and Guides is a large national event that
brings together Scouts and Guides from across India and other
countries for a week of activities, cultural exchange, and adventure.
These events aim to promote unity, leadership, and a sense of
citizenship by having young people live, learn, and share experiences
together. The 19th National Jamboree took place in Lucknow, Uttar
Pradesh, from November 23rd to 29th, 2025. 
Purpose: To celebrate unity, adventure, and learning among young
people. It provides a platform for cultural exchange, skill-building,
and fostering friendships.
Activities: Participants engage in a wide range of activities,
including adventure sports, cultural performances, and youth training
programs. They also participate in activities like amateur radio and
work to complete specific challenges.
Participants: Over 32,000 Scouts and Guides from across India and
around the world typically participate in these events, living
together in a temporary "tent city".
Values: The Jamboree instills values such as discipline, teamwork,
self-reliance, and leadership.
Recent Event: The 19th National Jamboree was held in Lucknow, Uttar
Pradesh, from November 23-29, 2025. It marked the 75th anniversary of
the Bharat Scouts and Guides organization.
